An Ocean Hill business that closed due to the pandemic shortly after opening its doors is back open, offering healthy treats to a community with many unhealthy options nearby.

Beets Cafe offers juices and smoothies, as well as vegan and non-vegan pastries.

The cafe opened in February as a way to give the neighborhood healthy food and drink options.

Owner Glyford Laguerre says he had to close the cafe a month after opening because of the pandemic.

Safety measures are in place and masks are required.
