A Jamaican bakery, which has been in business for 50 years in Wakefield, is not letting a pandemic keep them from serving customers.
The Kingston Tropical Bakery has been bringing Jamaicans a taste of home.
John and Joyce Levi opened the bakery with secret family recipes, serving up beef, chicken and veggie patties, coco bread and more by using fresh ingredients down to the last drop.
Sage Mullings, the owner's grandson, says the pandemic has kept his grandfather away. Also, the shop only accepts cash.
The bakery has adopted by using masks, hand sanitizer and a glass barrier to keep everyone sage. The owners say their customers have remained loyal.
