More businesses in the city are continuing to open back up and changing policies and procedures to comply with the restrictions during the coronavirus pandemic.
However, businesses are still making sure they can give New Yorkers the local bites and drinks they love.
It's been nearly three months, but Little Skips East coffee shop is officially back open.
While the coffee spot might look a bit different these days, Linda Thach tells News 12 that after closing all three of her shops back in March, it's nice to be back open.
They now have signs to make sure that everyone wears a mask and even mapped out the waiting area inside to ensure customers are social distancing.
"You see the sign that says wear a mask you see the fact that like it's like four customers max I feel like that's a very responsible thing to do right now so I feel very safe coming,” said Thach.
While the coffee shop is only open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. these days and the food menu has been modified, they are now taking orders online and they have plans to offer delivery soon too.
Thach tells News 12 they're also looking into outdoor seating options and other changes they might be able to make to continue to keep everyone safe, without anyone having to sacrifice a good cup of coffee.
"I feel good about the future and I think we will continue to get busier but right now it's just one day at a time,” said Thach.
