There’s a new juice bar in Brooklyn that opened its doors after the height of the coronavirus pandemic. 

Thirst RX in East Flatbush is serving healthy, fresh and vibrant smoothies and juices from inside a dentist’s office. 

What inspired the co-owned venture? Well, part-owner Robert Mitchell says, “After COVID-19 hit this community really hard, I decided to try to do the most that I can to help, and what I know is health and wellness.” 

 

"It means a lot to the community to have a go-to place where you can have these fruits and vegetables that taste really good in a drink,” said part-owner Dr. Bobbi Peterson. 

Both Mitchell and Dr. Peterson are working together to promote health and wellness to their patients and customers. 

Thirst RX is offering free delivery and curbside pickup for customers and plans to have outdoor dining within the next week.
