News 12 sat down with Puerto Rican chef and restaurant partner David Angelo Santiago of Yonkers' Latin Corner ahead of the big game on Sunday.
This Super Bowl, Bad Bunny will make history as the first Spanish-language artist to perform the half time show.
In preparation, some around Westchester were making space next to their wings for some new delicacies.
Chef David Angelo Santiago, of Latin Corner, told News 12 his restaurant was already preparing for orders ahead of the game on Friday.
"Yesterday, I left, I came back to four or five catering orders and being that we are closed on Sunday, people are coming in Saturday, Saturday night to pick up their stuff," he said.
Many of the recipes are inspired by his mother, which he watched cook as a child.
The restaurant features signature Puerto Rican dishes like shrimp mofongo, pernil, alcapurria, arroz con gandules and more.
On social media, users have also been sharing their recipes with plans to incorporate Puerto Rican culture into the game this year.
"We were an island in need and he kind of like, is bringing us back and I think all of this, it just shows how proud we are and everything he's accomplished for us," said Pleasantville resident Gabriela Garcia.
Latin Corner is located in Yonkers at 579b Central Park Ave.
It is open 11 a.m. Through 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
