Ten white strollers were placed on the sidewalk outside City Hall today for a 3-month-old baby girl struck and killed by a driver this past weekend in Brooklyn.
Advocates and elected officials are demanding Mayor Bill de Blasio take immediate action.
Lawmakers are calling for changes to policy on both city and state levels that could make streets safer all across the five boroughs.
Advocates and family members who have lost loved ones in crashes are calling for action at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in Lincoln Square.
The man in custody for the 3-month-old’s death, 28-year-old Tarik Mock, reportedly had over 30 violations just this year and previously had his license suspended.
