Winter break is here! If you’re in the Bronx and Brooklyn, we’ve got you covered with some fun activities to keep you busy.
The Williamsbridge Oval Recreation Center is preparing for winter break and is hosting a Winter Olympics on Tuesday.
The event will be on Tuesday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Kids can play hockey, curling bobsledding and other sports, just as if they’re at the Winter Olympics.
The center is also hosting a musical fitness session. Kids can take a try at ballet, Zumba, even musical chairs.
The musical fitness session is set for Wednesday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Proof of vaccination is needed.
Over in Brooklyn, you and your child can build a bird feeder at the Fort Greene Park Visitor Center on Thursday from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Also, if you and your children like a nice campfire, then you’re invited to join the “Gather Around the Campfire” on Friday, where you can do nature activities and even tell stories.
All of these events are free.
