One man remains in critical condition after being hit by an oncoming vehicle in West Farms.
Witnesses say the man was stuck by a minivan on Southern Boulevard Wednesday evening.
They say the man flew in the air after being hit, his shoe flying into the crosswalk.
Some neighbors say they ran to help, trying to stop the man from being hit again by oncoming traffic.
Police say the driver stayed on the scene.
Police do not believe any criminality was involved.
