3-vehicle collision on Bruckner Boulevard turns deadly

The aftermath of a deadly crash on Friday left debris and shattered car parts scattered across the roadway.

A 911 call came in for a crash along Bruckner Boulevard near Sheridan Avenue, just before 5 a.m.

Police say a 29-year-old woman driving an Infiniti sedan with two passengers - a 26-year-old woman in the back seat and a 29-year-old man in the front. They were heading eastbound when the driver slammed into a white box truck driven by a 26-year-old man.

Moments later, a 2024 tractor-trailer, driven by a 29-year-old man, was also involved in the crash, although investigators are still working to determine how that happened.

EMS rushed all five people involved to Lincoln Hospital.

Authorities have identified the deceased victim as 29-year-old Angie Miguel.

The other four were listed in stable condition.

Drivers in the area say the intersection can be dangerous and needs more safety measures.
