Restaurant owners and New York City residents are once again facing a suspension of indoor dining.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced that indoor dining across the five boroughs will be halted due to the continuing rise in coronavirus cases.

"This is not high science we're applying here," Cuomo says. "These are common sense rules. When the virus is highest, you have to take action."

Caribbean Restaurant Kokomo in Williamsburg is just one of the city's restaurants that will be forced to close.

The restaurant offers exquisite décor and music in its indoor setting.

Frequent diners say they believe that restaurants are being unfairly targeted as other activities are still taking place.

They also tell News 12 that the ban on indoor dining is a tough loss for the city while trying to stay safe in every way possible.

The owner of the Kokomo tells News 12 that they have outdoor dining, but they wonder if that will soon be banned.
