2 sought in alleged hate crime attack
A Bronx man says he was picking up his niece from P.S. 119 when two men approached him from behind and beat him to the ground.
Mujibur Rahman, a Bangladeshi Muslim, says his attacked screamed "ISIS" several times. He says he believes he was targeted because of his Islamic dress and tupi.
Rahman spent the night at the hospital Friday after suffering several broken bones.
Officials returned to the scene with Rahman to further investigate the attack.
Both Rahman and members of the Muslim community hope the two assailants are found and put to justice.
The NYPD Hate Crimes Task Force told News 12 that it is actively investigating the incident.
