A Bronx teacher got a big surprise as he was featured in a show produced by Maroon 5's Adam Levine.
Teacher Majid Khaliq was surprised by rapper A$AP Ferg on the eight-episode YouTube series "Sugar."
The show features a new artist each week as they surprise fans who have given back to their communities.
Khaliq teaches music at Kipp Academy, where he says music is an extremely important way for children to express themselves.
He hopes the visit from the New York rapper shows students throughout the Bronx that they can play any instrument if you put work into it.
Khaliq says he is working on an album with Brooklyn rapper Dyme-A-Duzin to release this fall.
