Dozens of people gathered at Norwalk City Hall to honor the sacrifices of the brave men and women in uniform.

The city's annual Veterans Day Ceremony was held Saturday.

The ceremony honors those who have served as well as the men and women in uniform who are currently serving our country.

One person at the ceremony says it's not so much a day of celebration as much as it is a day of remembrance. He says veterans have given so much for the United States, some of whom gave the ultimate sacrifice.
