A back-to-school party in Claremont hoped to ease students’ transition away from summer break.
Students of all ages gathered for the community celebration, featuring food, music and back-to-school-themed gifts, donated by the Bronx 7th Day Adventist Church.
Each child walked away from the part with a backpack filled with things like pencils, paper, folders, crayons, markers and more.
