Bronx Boys & Girls Club, seniors team up to be community 'heroes'

As the U.S. observed Veterans Day, kids in Belmont learned what it means to be a hero and to service their community.
Kids at Madison Square Boys & Girls Club teamed up with seniors from the Boston Road Rainn Center, doing activities that included making sandwiches for the homeless, creating a quilt and writing poetry.
The activity also asked the kids what a hero is to them.
Sony Electronics teamed up with the Boys & Girls Club of America to encourage young people to help in their community and be heroes. Sony has served as a partner with the Boys & Girls Club for six years.
