Caught on camera: Livery cab driver stabbed in University Heights

Police are working to determine what led to the stabbing of a 26-year-old livery cab driver in University Heights.

Police are working to determine what led to the stabbing of a 26-year-old livery cab driver in University Heights. 
Police say the incident happened on Aug. 5 outside of 60 W. 183rd St. and was caught on surveillance video.
The video shows an altercation erupt between a group of people in the middle of the street. A punch is thrown and then one individual notices blood and that he's been stabbed. The video then shows witnesses trying to get help for the victim.
News 12 is told the victim is recovering at St. Barnabas Hospital.
