Construction project leaves Wakefield residents without water
A construction project in Wakefield left residents and businesses without water for most of the day Thursday.
The two-day project to install a 20-inch water main is happening on parts of 241st Street and on White Plains Road.

Jason Kepekci, manager of 241st Street Cafe, says he had to fill up buckets with water before his building went dry.
Residents say they are mad because they have families who need the water.
News 12 has learned that if the weather doesn't comply, construction crews could be in the area until Saturday.
