Authorities have busted what sources are calling a pit bull breeding operation in Morrisania.
According to police, Orlando Parrilla, 28, was arrested after they discovered four dogs, including two puppies, chained in a basement at a home at 830 East 163rd St. They say they had received a complaint about the locked up animals.
Video shows one female dog appeared to be emaciated and locked in a cage filled with urine and feces. Sources say the other three appear to be in good health.
Parrilla is facing aggravated animal cruelty charges.
