Crews start from scratch on road repairs
Repairs are finally underway on a Morrisania street riddled with potholes.
The city's Department of Transportation isn't just fixing one hole at a time on East 165th Street. Instead, it ripped up the entire road and is starting over.
A viewer first told News 12 about the pothole problem between Clay and Morris avenues, calling it a "war zone." Residents say they're ecstatic that the long overdue repairs are being made.
Crews are hoping to finish the project by the end of the day, but say it could also take a little longer.
