Groups in the Bronx donated Christmas gifts to families in need.
For the sixth straight year, Bronx Manhattan Association of Realtors and the Bronx YMCA teamed up for what's now known as "Operation Perry's Kids."
"We are going out to visit families and give them gifts," Chief Executive Officer Eliezer Rodriguez says.  "These are families who are unable to provide for their children, so today is the gift of giving and we are more than happy to do that."
The groups hosted a holiday party where toys were donated and collected for distribution.
"One of our driving forces behind this, Perry Gold, passed away four days before our holiday party, so in his memory we're renaming it "Operation Perry's Kids," Rodriguez says.
The group says that at least 25 families in the Bronx received gifts.
