An early morning fire displaced some residents on Montgomery Street.

News 12 is told a family of five lives at the home at 1668 Montgomery St. and that two of the kids were home when the fire broke out. The parents are currently in the Dominican Republic, but have been informed of what happened.

Residents on the bottom floor of the home were also evacuated.

Officials say there was no word on how the fire started. There were no reported injuries.
