Hunts Point rooftop transformed into graffiti gallery
A Bronx business owner has created a hidden art gallery above his office space in the middle of Hunts Point.
For the past 20 years, Vincent Pacifico has invited graffiti artists from around the world to climb the steps of Vista Food Exchange and walk out onto the roof to spray their marks.
Pacifico says that transforming the concrete walls into an array of bright colors and original designs is a tribute to the artists who risked a lot to pave their way through an art form that has been looked at with disdain.
Pacifico plans to continue allowing graffiti to be sprayed across his rooftop walls until space runs out.
