Investigators: 1 arrested in Morris Heights fire
A worker making repairs on a Montgomery Avenue rooftop has been arrested in connection with a massive Morris Heights fire that destroyed 23 apartments, according to investigators.
The blaze injured two firefighters and two civilians.
Investigators have not yet identified the worker or publicly announced the charges.
The fire displaced dozens of residents at 1750 Montgomery Ave. and destroyed many of their belongings.
City agencies and the Red Cross are assisting those families as the cleanup continues.
