Manhattan, Iona to battle for NCAA Tournament spot
For the third year in a row, college basketball rivals Manhattan College and Iona College will battle tonight for a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
Head coach Steve Masiello says this is a very proud moment for him and the staff, but adds that it says a lot about the players and how talented they are.
Masiello says these are the moments to enjoy. "Two of the more prized programs in the conference, competing for a championship for the third year in a row."
The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championship game starts at 9 p.m.
