Multi-platinum producer Amadeus came back to his Bronx neighborhood to be principal for the day.

Students at C.S. 55 opened their school to the Claremont native, who grew up in the neighborhood.

"Got to meet some amazing teachers, got to meet some amazing students, the energy in this building is amazing," says Amadeus.
His passion has been music since he was just a young kid drumming in the borough. He shared his story with the students at C.S. 55, letting them know they too can follow their dreams.
Throughout Amadeus' career, he has worked and traveled with big names like Trey Songz and Chris Brown, but his roots will always be right here in the Bronx.

"It meant a lot to me to let them just feel my energy and let them feel my presence, to just show them I am from where you are from and I'm making it," says Amadeus.
And to really make the day special, Amadeus got to meet Hip-Hop legend Grandmaster Melle Mel and be inducted into the C.S 55 museum.
