A neighborhood in Throgs Neck is concerned about a beehive after one man says he was twice stung by bees near his home.

Frank Sorichwett first spotted the hive three days ago in front of his Harding Avenue home. On Sunday afternoon, he says he was stung on the back of his arm and on his right leg while working in his front garden.

Neighbors say they're also concerned about the hive hanging just a few feet away from a school bus stop.

It's currently unclear what type of bee inhabits the hive, but neighbors say they're large, comparing their size to a quarter.

The NYPD urges residents to call 911 to report any beehives.
