The Collector Cave in Pelham Bay opened its doors on Tuesday.

The store, located at 3027 Middletown Road, has everything from comic books, action figures and vintage toys to video games and modern toys.

The owners of the store grew up in the Pelham Bay neighborhood and are passionate about comics.

"There isn't a store in this community that does vintage and comics and everything," says store owner James Post. "We want to build a community. We wanted to get the kids off the iPhones and iPads, get them back in the books and give them a childhood again."
