A brazen thief was caught on camera stealing cash from a restaurant in Norwood.
It happened around 6 a.m. Saturday AAA Caridad Gourmet Restaurant on Webster Avenue.
News 12 is told the accused thief walked right through front door, which was unlocked.
Surveillance video released by the NYPD shows a man pulling money out of the cash register, repeatedly looking over his shoulder as he does it, before closing the register carefully and slowly making his way back out of the restaurant.
Police say he made off with about $75 from the register.
An employee at the restaurant told News 12 he was cooking and getting ready to open when he heard a noise and saw the suspect running out the door.
He was last seen heading westbound on East 205th Street and was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt at the time.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
