Parts of the Bronx lose power during thunderstorm, extreme heat

Heavy rain Wednesday caused some living in the Bronx to wake up without power today.

Heavy rain Wednesday caused some living in the Bronx to wake up without power today.
People living in Clason Point tell News 12 they were without power for about five minutes Wednesday when it started pouring. 
The heavy rain also caused a tree to fall on a car.
Con Edison is reporting over 200 people were without power in the area. According to their website, some buildings are still without power and are expected to be back up and running by 5 p.m. today.
Overnight the city had up to 7,000 people without electricity.
People in the neighborhood tell News 12 their power goes off every time there's a thunderstorm.
