In this week's Paws & Pals, Kent Animal Shelter presented four dogs looking for their 'furever' homes.

Lexi is a 23-pound, 3-year-old Beagle mix. She is a little on the shy side, but warms up quickly. Lexi is known to smile, and loves to sit on your lap. She would do best in a home as the only dog.

Ben is a 14-pound, 4-year-old Jack Russell Terrier. He can be a little nervous when you first meet him, but is very friendly with people once he's comfortable. Ben loves his walks and is great on a leash. He would prefer to be the only dog in the home.

Cheyenne is a 14-pound, 3-year-old Chihuahua mix. Cheyenne loves everyone she meets and is awesome on a leash. She's a real cuddlebug and does well with other dogs.

Penelope is between 45 and 50 pounds. She is a 5-year-old Terrier mix. She is a real sweetheart and loves to play with her toys. Penelope loves going for long walks. She would do very well in a home without other pets.
