One person is dead and nearly a dozen more were injured after a four-car crash in Marble Hill Sunday morning.
Police say 54-year-old William Hay, of Spuyten Duyvil, was killed in the four-car pileup that occurred at West 228th Street and Marble Hill Avenue at around 4:40 a.m.
They say Hay tried to drive between a car stopped at a red light and another car parked at the corner.
Authorities say he hit both vehicles, sending them into a third car, which was also stopped at a light.
Hay was found unconscious, and was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police say about 11 people, including a child, were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries.
