Police: Bronx man crashes car into pedestrian
Police says a Bronx man is facing charges after he struck a pedestrian and side-swiped several vehicles with his car in front of an NYPD watchtower.
They say 33-year-old George Lorenzo was drunk when he crashed his car into a man on Third Avenue and E. 143rd Street in Mott Haven around 9:15 p.m. Monday.
Police say Lorenzo crashed his 2008 white Mercedes Benz into six cars located in front of an NYPD watchtower. They say the 23-year-old man who was hit was trying to get into a car when Lorenzo crashed into him. 
The man was rushed to the hospital and is stable condition.
Lorenzo is facing felony vehicular assault and driving while under the influence.
