Police: Man sexually abused disabled student
A Bronx man accused of sexually abusing a young disabled girl at a school was arraigned in Bronx Criminal Court Tuesday.
Police say they arrested 51-year-old Yakabu Abdulazeez inside the Christopher School at 1250 East 229th St. Monday morning.
The school provides 24-hour care to children with disabilities.
Police say a witness observed the man putting his hands inside the alleged 14-year-old victim's pants.
Abdulazeez is facing numerous charges, including sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child.
He is due back in court next month.
