Police say a man threw a brick into a marked NYPD van in Soundview Wednesday.

Police say a man threw a brick into a marked NYPD van in Soundview Wednesday.
News 12 is told it happened on Aug. 7 near Story and Fteley avenues, right by the 43rd Precinct. Police say a man approached the van and threw a brick, damaging the front windshield.
No officers were inside of the van at the time of the incident.
The suspect then fled into the Clason Point Houses. It's not clear whether he lives in the building.
He's described as being approximately 6 feet tall and about 325 pounds, and was seen wearing a white shirt and khaki pants.
