Police precincts across the city Tuesday took part in the annual "National Night Out" event.
Bronx residents got a chance to meet local police officers from the 43rd Precinct and have some fun.
Music, food, a bouncy house for kids and face painting were just a few of the activities available for the public to enjoy.
National Night Out was designed to prevent and reduce crime, with the first starting in 1984.
The event is held on the first Tuesday of August across the country.
