Police have arrested the bus rider accused of slashing two women in Melrose Monday night after the victims tried to pet her dog.
Shekema Young is charged with multiple counts of assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
The 38-year-old says "nothing" happened as she walked out of the 40 Precinct Tuesday and asked why she was attacked.
Police say she was seen in surveillance video with her small white dog.
They say she came at the two victims with a sharp object after some sort of argument on the Bx2 bus.
As for the victims, investigators say the 22-year-old woman suffered slashes to her face and head and her 20-year-old friend was hit in the arm.
They ran across the street to NYC Health + Hospitals Lincoln for help and were released Monday afternoon.
