Rain drenches New York City
Heavy rain poured over the city Monday, swamping the Bronx from Kingsbridge to Soundview.
The precipitation left low-lying areas flooded and had pedestrians hopping over puddles around the borough.
The National Weather Service announced a flash flood watch until 6 a.m. Tuesday.
Rainfall is expected to clear up overnight before temperatures climb into the 80s Tuesday, according to forecasters.
