A new report reveals the Bronx is the best bang for your buck when it comes to real estate.
A report released by the Real Estate Board of New York shows that while prices have gone up across the city, the Bronx is still the most affordable borough to buy a home in.
Realtor Manuel Pantiga says a three-bedroom home on Colden Avenue that's been completely renovated with a brand-new kitchen and floors is going for about $525,000.
Pantiga says that's more than it would've been in previous years but half the price of what it would be in other boroughs.
He says a lot of people are buying in neighborhoods like Mott Haven and Morris Park, and not just places like Riverdale and Fieldston.
Pantiga says many small businesses and big corporations are looking at the Bronx as the last frontier for new development in New York City.
