A global report has ranked the United States 39th out of 180 countries overall when it comes to children's well-being.
The numbers in the full report published in "The Lancet" were tallied based on children's survival, health, education and nutrition.
World Health Organization officials pointed to child obesity as a major issue and blame consumption of more junk food and less exercise.
