After a year of dealing with unpaved streets, residents in Harding Park have had enough.

Bronx homeowners and local officials have been fighting the city's Department of Transportation to have one of the craters on Underhill Ave. fixed.

"It is dangerous, and it is a nightmare", says Lucille Figuereo.
Figuereo has lived at 1024 Harding Park for five years, but must use an alternative entrance to get her mail and get in and out of her driveway.

Figuereo has called 311 multiple times and contacted Assemblyman Marcos Crespo about this.

Assemblyman Crespo says he's been back and forth with the Department of Transportation about the issue for years.

The Department of Transportation tells News 12, "There are a number of factors that prevent the Department of Transportation from paving this street, including lack of infrastructure, roadway width, and encroachments."

The Department of Transportation says it would survey those potholes Thursday.
