The New York Special Force Cadets are learning all about hard work, discipline and what it takes to be a cadet.

The cadets in the program are learning about what it takes to be members of the military. 

One of the organizers says they are trying to teach the cadets about courage and discipline. The cadets meet several times a week in Soundview. 

The organizers are all veterans from different branches of the military.

They say 23 people are enrolled in the program from varying ages. The Special Force Cadets say they are getting ready for anything that comes their way.

They look forward to being leaders in the community, motivated to do good in the world.
