A new Consumer Reports study has found “worrisome" levels of toxic chemicals, such as arsenic and lead, in a variety of baby foods.
Many of the baby foods tested were popular brands such as Gerber and Beech Nut.
The study found organic baby food was just as likely to contain these toxic chemicals.
Exposure to even small amounts of toxic heavy metals at a young age is linked to several health problems, behavioral problems, autism and ADD.
