University Heights residents pleading for gas, water
Residents in a University Heights apartment building have been without basic utilities for the past three days. Tenants at 2290 Davidson Ave. says the entire building has been without gas and water after a leak caused one resident's bathroom to collapse. To compensate, many of them say they've started taking buckets of water from the nearby Laundromat. Despite calls to 311, the superintendent and the landlord, residents say they have yet to receive any help. Con Edison officials say the landlord must call a plumber to have the building properly inspected before the gas can be turned on. News 12 The Bronx reached out to the landlord, who has yet to comment.
