Weather Update: Freezing temps, weekend Nor'easter
As the city prepares for the possibility of heavy snowfall this weekend, forecasts predict Thursday will be sunny and breezy with highs touching the upper-30s.
Friday's forecast shows mostly cloudy skies in the morning that will give way to afternoon snow showers as the storm nears the region. Meteorologists say highs will be in the mid-30s.
There is a potential for a significant nor'easter storm for Friday night into Saturday night. The storm surge could cause high wind gusts up to 50 mph, snow and coastal flooding by Saturday night.
