One person has died following an outbreak of Legionnaires' disease in Morris Park.
Officials say 13 people in the Morris Park neighborhood have recently tested positive for the disease.
The first case was reported on Sept. 21.
Of those who tested positive, 11 individuals are hospitalized and one person has been released from the hospital.
Authorities say all of the patients diagnosed with Legionnaires' disease have underlying health conditions.
There are 15 cooling towers in the area that tested positive for the legionella bacteria. This all comes after a Legionnaires' outbreak in the Bronx last month killed 12 people and sickened more than 100 others.
