Two cars were vandalized and marked with a symbol of hate Thursday, just blocks from the 43rd Precinct on Saint Lawrence Avenue in Soundview.

Rodney Brown says a friend, who came to visit him, pointed out that his rental and personal cars had swastikas and Star of David symbols carved into the sides. The tires of both vehicles were slashed as well.

Brown says he has no enemies and does not think he was targeted for any racial or religious reason.

Brown says he is angry not only because he was targeted, but also because it took police more than four hours to arrive at the scene, leaving him stranded with no transportation.

Brown filed a report and police are investigating the incident.
