2 thieves on scooter wanted in chain snatching incidents in The Bronx

Neither of the victims were injured during the incidents.

Police are looking for two thieves on a motorized scooter who snatched the chains off their victims’ necks in The Bronx.

The first incident happened on Aug. 4 on Westchester Avenue. The two approached a 17-year-old girl, threatened her and took her chain that was worth $14,600. They escaped on the scooter on Leland Avenue.

The second incident happened the next day inside Crotona Park. They approached a 35-year-old woman, threatened her and took her chain that was worth $40.

Neither of the victims were injured during the incidents.
