BX residents celebrate Mexican culture on Cinco de Mayo
<p>Bronx residents flocked to the restaurant, Cinco de Mayo, on Washington Avenue to celebrate the annual Mexican holiday. Cinco de Mayo is meant to commemorate the Mexican army's unexpected victory over the French at the battle of Puebla in 1862. People at the restaurant say the holiday has become a celebration of the Mexican culture for them.</p>
