Mayor Eric Adams spent Monday night addressing community issues head-on in the Bronx at a community town hall in Hunts Point.

Adams was joined by a panel of over two dozen city representatives who sat down with Bronx residents at the Hunts Point Recreation Center to hear their concerns.

Some of the issues brought forward include a plan to address drugs on the streets near school zones, funding for local food pantries and improving the city’s communication between departments.

The majority of questions presented on Monday night were centered around youth and what New York City is doing to ensure kids and teens are not left behind when being protected from violence and set up for social and economic success.
