A club at Bunnell High School has formed a leadership program with a goal of improving the futures of young Black men.

Assistant Principal John Ramos modeled Men of Color after a program created by the state athletic and educational organizations.

"I wanted to do once a month, then I wanted to do twice a month, and they are the ones who said we need to meet every week," said Ramos.

The members talk about life, community and race. They believe Men of Color has the power to counter prejudice.

They say Men of Color has improved race relations in the school.

Ramos says he hopes the group inspires other schools to start their own chapters.
